Lake Elkhorn is a beautfiful place to walk and play! We visited back in May (which is why you see my kids wearing jackets in these pics 🤪) There is a 37 acre lake surrounded by a 2 mile walking path featuring several overlooks with gazebos on the water. The dock area has tables with checkers and blue lounge chairs that looked SO relaxing (if I didn’t have my kids with me 🤪)
The playground is surrounded by trees and has a beautiful view of the lake. It has a side for toddlers and a side for bigger kids, swings, bouncy cars and a sandbox. We were there on a weekday morning at 10 and only shared the playground with one other family.
🚽 Bathrooms 🚽: no – the bathrooms we saw were locked at the time of our visit
👩👧👦Solo w/ kids?👩👧👦: yes, though on some dock areas there are no railings so it depends on your kiddos
🛒 Stroller friendly?🛒: yes! Great place for stroller walks
😷: not busy at all, plenty of room to spread out

🧺 Picnic Tables: yes, right in front of the playground with beautiful views of the lake!
