Swann Park is tucked away in the woods behind the 12th hole on the Crofton Country Club golf course. The playground here is on the smaller side and is definitely geared towards younger kids – but it was PERFECT for my kiddos! The smaller structure was great for my 18 mo. old and the bigger one was great for my 3.5 y/o’s!
This playground is nicely shaded (and is included on my “shaded playgrounds” adventure list!). The surrounding trees provide shade on most of the equipment. There are tons of picnic tables among the trees to have a snack or lunch.
There is a pretty pond next to the playground (separated by a fence!) and my kids loved watching golfers come by on their carts and take their swings! (This was their favorite part!)
We were here at 8:15 on a Sunday and at the place to ourselves, so I can’t comment on how busy this is at a more reasonable hour, LOL! (Feel free to chime in if you know!)
