Piney Orchard Community Playground

We recently visited the Piney Orchard neighborhood in Odenton to play at one of their community parks. This was a beautiful area and the perfect place to spend the morning with little ones!
I recommend parking at the community center (address listed above) and walking behind the building to the pond. There is a nice paved walking trail that surrounds the pond. If you follow it around, it will lead you past TWO playgrounds! One is smaller with a single play structure and is fully fenced! Is is right next to a stream that connects the 2 ponds.
The second playground is the main park and is HUGE! 2 big play structures, 4 big kid swings, 2 toddler swings, and a covered pavilion with picnic tables. This playground has nice views of the nearby pond.
The walking trail that goes through this area goes around the pond, over several small bridges, along a small stream, past the community pool and of course, the two playgrounds. This was honestly the perfect length walk for toddlers and there was plenty to keep them interested!
This is located directly behind a shopping center with several places to grab a bite to eat, including Dunkin Donuts, Orchard Cafe, and Mamma Roma’s (hoping to grab lunch next time we go!)
