Our first fall festival of the season was Councell Farms on the eastern shore! We had the BEST day ever and are so excited to share! Getting there is easy – drive like you’re heading to Ocean City and stop just 25 minutes past the bridge.
What we LOVE:
🌽Open DAILY from 9:30-530 (weather permitting). This is the only fall festival I could find that is open all day, every day.
🌽 Super affordable pricing – $6/person (<2 free!)
🌽Grandparents are free! ♥️
🌽 On-site creamery serving Vanderwende’s ice cream (same, affordable prices as Vanderwendes – $4 for “small” which is HUGE) *opens at noon
🌽SO.MANY.ACTIVTIES!!! There is really something for all ages. The girls favorite was the giant jump pillow and the little ‘neighborhood’ of several wood playhouses grouped to gather and stocked with play food, etc.
🌽I loved how open everything was here – made it super easy to keep an eye on the girls as they went from one activity to the next.
The “field of fun” has over 20 different activities for kids including a corn maze, obstacle course with slides, corn box, jump pillow, sand box, hay maze, sling shots, combine slide, and more! I planned to stay for 2 hours and we ended up staying for 4 (and could have stayed longer!) You can also feed goats and ducks. There are tons of tables, so plan to pack a lunch (there are concessions on the weekends). There is a pumpkin patch just past the pond with pumpkins available for purchase, as well as a huge market with tons of pumpkins!
