Broom’s Bloom Dairy
1700 S Fountain Green Rd, Bel Air, MD 21015
We finally got to visit @bbdairy on the recommendation of Rachel from @baltimorefamilyfun and it was worth the wait! I’ve been wanting to check this place out since she told me about it way back in March when I first started this page and posted about our visit to Rockfield Park in Bel Air.
On this trip we went back to Rockfield Park, and then headed straight to Broom’s Bloom for lunch and Ice Cream. This is a spot you absolutely HAVE to visit when you are in Bel Air!
Broom’s Bloom is a restaurant and ice cream shop located on a dairy farm. Here are some highlights:
🍦Outdoor seating in a beautiful setting – views of the fields and several shade trees.
🍦Plenty of space for kids to run around
🍦Fresh ice cream made right on the farm
🍦Amazing lunch options – I got cream of crab soup and the girls got Mac and cheese
🍦An assortment of fresh cheeses, bread, milk, etc – all farm fresh
You order inside of the restaurant (which is decorated with all kinds of hilarious signs) and they will call your name outside when it is ready.
I followed Rachel’s advice and got there early. They open at 11 and she recommends going about 10:30 – the grounds are open and you can grab a table and let the kids play. I was so glad we got there right before they opened because it filled up QUICK – every outdoor table was full by 11:05 on a Friday and they say it can take 30 minutes for your food. So, go early and ENJOY! We had the best time enjoying the nice weather, delicious food and letting the kids run around.
