We were totally blown away during our visit to Gaver Farm this week! Really cannot say enough good things about this place. So many of you recommended it and it was totally worth the hour drive for us. We spent over 4 hours here and could have stayed even longer if it wasn’t such a hot day! For reference, we visited on a Tuesday in September so the information here reflects our experience at that time.

What we LOVED:

⭐️ Open 7 days a week! And almost all activities (including some concessions) are available on weekdays so you get the full experience no matter when you visit.
⭐️ Cider slushies were amazing on a hot day! They even have “cider sippers” for kids that come in a little apple shaped sippy cup 😍

⭐️ Several huge slides that adults and kids can ride together

⭐️ TWO jumping pillows with separate height requirements (so little kids can jump separately from bigs)

⭐️ Tons of farm animals including an entire pen of the cutest baby goats (feed cups are $3)

⭐️SO. MANY. ACTIVITIES. Seriously. Everywhere you look there was a new game, activity, play structure, photo op, etc. There was no shortage of anything to do, and they had some unique things we hadn’t seen before, like a chalk house where kids could draw all over the interior walls.

⭐️A shaded hayride takes you to the PYO fields and pumpkin patch, including the sunflower field. This field is set up with some really cute photo spots including a piano and a tractor. Sunflowers are $2 a stem.

⭐️ An awesome obstacle course with ropes, bridges, tunnels and balance beams. This is designed for kids to race so there is two of every obstacle side-by-side. We had the course to ourselves so this was perfect for my twins to play together!

⭐️ A “baby barn” with changing stations and a nursing area for moms with little ones.

⭐️This is also a Christmas tree farm, so the entire play area had sweeping views of the Christmas trees. While on the hayride, you could see pumpkins, sunflowers and Christmas trees all at once – so beautiful!

Some tips:

  • Gaver Farm is HUGE! There is so much to see and do here. When we arrived we walked straight to the top of the hill (past all the activities) just so we could get an idea of everything that was available. We were there on a hot day and the top of the hill has lots of trees and shade. A favorite up here for my girls was a “chalk house” – an empty shed where they inside walls were painted it chalk paint and the kids could draw all over. We also loved the musical wall with all types of different items turns into percussion instruments. Going to the top of the hill first also meant that those activities were empty while some things near the entrance were already in use.
  • The hayride was running at 12 and 2 on the day of our visit (not sure if it runs more frequently on weekends but we were there on a weekday. I was unsure if we should do it since it was over 90 degrees the day we went, but I’m SO glad we did. It takes you ona. beautiful ride through the property to their PYO sunflowers, pumpkins, and apples (apples only available on weekends). The sunflowers are set up with several great photo ops, including a piano and tractor tucked into the field
  • On a weekday visit, there were no lunch options available but they did have cider donuts, slushies, kids cider cups and a few other snacks. The donuts were not warm/freshly made, but I believe they are on the weekends.
  • We LOVED going down the big white slides. There are 2 sets, one when you first walk in, and another at the top of the hill. These are great because they are wide enough for parents to ride down with their kids, and we had SO much fun going together!

We had the best time here and I highly recommend making sure you get to Gaver Farm as some point this fall, it is absolutely amazing!
