Green Meadows Petting Farm invited us to come check out their petting farm and we were truly blown away by everything they have to offer! We visited when they opened on a weekday and spent over 3 hours here – we could have stayed even longer if we didn’t have to get back for naps!

Some highlights (everything except for the food is included in the admission price):

πŸ„ Over 20 different friendly animals (all well labeled with name and breed!)
πŸ„ Animal feeding stations (feed is free!)
πŸ„ Piggy races
πŸ„ Hay ride (with shade covering overhead!)
πŸ„ Rubber duck races
πŸ„ Firetruck playground (shaded!)
πŸ„ Super cool tractor playground/slide
πŸ„ Corn bin
πŸ„ Sandbox
πŸ„ Snowie Shaved Ice Truck
πŸ„ Snack shack with fresh donuts and cold drinks
πŸ„ Super friendly and helpful staff throughout the farm!
πŸ„ Several covered picnic pavilions (we packed a lunch)
πŸ„ Spotless permanent bathrooms
πŸ„ Handwashing stations throughout the farm
πŸ„ Every Wednesday is Grandparents day (grandparent gets in free with each paid admission!) Love this!

I was so pleasantly surprised with how much shade was available around the farm. It was a HOT day when we visited so I was a little reluctant but we ended up being totally fine. There were plenty of opportunities to take a break from the sun – the sandbox, corn bin, firetruck playground, hay barn, animal barn, and hay ride were all shaded – not to mention many trees and picnic tents on the property.

Green Meadows offers seasonal events throughout the year including Barnyard Band and Booze, Trail of Jack-o-lanterns, Santa Fest, and Easter egg hunts. We hope to be able to check some of these out!

Seriously, cannot say enough good things about this place! I had to practically drag the girls out of here when it was time to go. Highly recommend paying them a visit, we will definitely be back!
