You guys, we finally found the perfect local kid-friendly brewery and I am SO excited! We have been on the hunt to find a great local brewery to bring the kids and spend the day and this one had everything we were looking for and more!

We arrived right when they opened at 11 am on a Saturday – it was pretty empty for the first half hour or so but after that there was a steady stream of people arriving the whole time – many families with young kids! The brewery sits on 30 acres – there are TONS of spread out picnic tables and plenty of space for kids to run around. There is even a swing set and play area in the far back corner. By the time we left at 2:30 there were lots of people but it never felt crowded – so much space to spread out and there were still quite a few empty tables. They recently added a HUGE covered pavilion providing shaded seating for the hot summer months. You can also bring your own shade – we saw several pop-up tents and beach umbrellas as well.

The beer and food were excellent! We tried the Dropped 600, Aprikose and Pucker Up (a farmhouse ale and 2 sours). We ordered one of their 12-inch pizzas and pretzels with beer cheese and feta dip (my favorite!) – both off their “Farm Bites” menu. They also have food trucks certain days/times! You are allowed to pack a cooler and bring your own food (so nice with kids!) – just no outside alcohol, of course! We were there early enough in the day that we didn’t deal with any long lines for beer and the food service was so quick – you order and they text you when its ready, but ours was ready pretty much right away!

Our kids had a BLAST running around in the field, watching the horses run around in the distance and they REALLY loved the soft serve ice cream they serve there as well!

Seriously though, I cannot say enough good things about this place and I am so happy to finally have a brewery like this close to home! I highly recommend visiting this place soon!
