Kinder Farm Park is a 288 acre park in Anne Arundel County – It is one of 4 county parks with an admission fee – $6 per vehicle or $40 for an annual pass (well worth it!). Kinder Farm has a sprawling farm complex with tons of animals (including lots of baby animals in the spring/summer!) These include goats, pigs, chickens, turkeys, llamas, cows, bunnies and quail. Also in the farm area is a huge display of tractors and a small pond area.
The playground at Kinder Farm was redone in March of 2020 and is really impressive! It has 3 tiered levels with slides built into the hills, a giant tractor play structure, musical instruments, rope climbers, and more! This playground is always busy, but there is a lot of space so we’re often still able to keep our distance.
The park includes a 2.5 mile paved perimeter trail, as well as several other paved walking trails throughout. It is a great place for stroller walks or bike/scooter rides! My girls love to ride their balance bikes through the farm area to look at all the animals. There are tons of picnic tables all over the park to stop and have lunch or a snack. This is one of our favorite places to visit year round!
