Fairwood park is located behind Fairwood shopping center and is another PG Imagination Playground! It is supposed to be an orchard theme but I didn’t really see many elements of that – still an awesome playground nonetheless! There are flat paved walking trails around the park area so this is a great place to push a stroller or let your kids ride bikes. There are picnic pavilions and other shaded areas to eat on site. There are 2 main play structures (one for toddlers and one for older kids), regular and toddler swings, rock climbing structures, a sand pit and some other really unique equipment! This playground also had a really cool interactive NEOS gaming system – this is the only place I’ve seen one of these! There were several games to choose from but we played one where you had to run around and tap each button as it lit up – the girls loves it and i loved that it really wore them out! 😂
In the shopping center next to this park is PJ’s coffee – a great place to grab coffee and beignet’s before or after playing!
