On our way to Matapeake Beach we passed this playground just down the road and had to pay it a visit on the way home!
We spent about an hour here (from 12-1 pm) and could have stayed longer! There are 2 playgrounds here. The main playground area is fully fenced 🙌🏼 and the main structure is also fully accessible – it is one of the better wheelchair accessible playgrounds I have been to! In I addition to the main structure there are swings, a huge climbing dome and a separate tall slide.
There are permanent bathrooms that were open in between the two playgrounds. I didn’t get any pictures of the smaller playground (we didn’t play there and there were several people there when we left) but it was good size, great for toddlers and had 2 baby swings.
This is a great place to stop before or after your visit to Matapeake Beach!
