This is different from my usual outings with toddlers, but after seeing @brownmustachecoffee featured on @thingstodoinbaltimoremd last week, I knew we needed to make a stop there!
We try to sneak in some one-on-one time with our twins when we can, so I got one up early this morning (who am I kidding… she was already awake 😩😂) and we headed out to Annapolis while the sun was coming up.
This coffee shop is located inside Old Fox Books on Maryland Avenue right between the state house and the Naval Academy. They have a beautiful garden space in the back with a playhouse/reading nook for kids. One of my twins is obsessed with books and I knew she would get a kick out of this spot. We ordered a coffee, hot cocoa and a lemon sugar muffin and sat in the garden – I got to drink my coffee hot while E played in the reading nook.
They are open 7 am – 5 pm daily and they now offer online orders and curbside pick up as well! You can go inside to order or order from their outside window. We got there right around 7:30 and had the garden to ourselves for almost an hour .. again, there are a few perks of my #earlyrisers 😂
We are so glad we got to check out this fun spot! Obviously, I probably wouldn’t bring my 3 kiddos here alone to run around and wreak havoc 🤣 but if you’re looking for a fun spot to grab coffee and sit outside with one of your kiddos, this is it! Also – you know how much I love curbside – would be a great spot to grab coffee and treat if you do have a bunch of kiddos with you – no getting them in and out of the car!

🛒 Stroller friendly?🛒: no, but not needed here
😷Covid-safe😷: masks required, order inside or out, open garden seating with plenty of space between tables.
🅿️Parking🅿️: Street parking is free on Maryland Ave before 10 am. After that there are meters on the street or you can pay to park in one of the nearby garages.
